When booking an appointment with one of the Pure Fitness Therapists you can be assured of first class treatment. Both our Therapists insist on working closely with our trainers. This serves to offer a complete total care experience. We believe in treating the injury and working closely together to ensure the best treatment possible. They are available to clients for advice and information and should you wish to take up personal training if you’re not already a client then a smooth handover with injury or postural history passed to the trainers following any treatment.
Our Therapists are trained to an excellent standard with university degree and master qualifications. We cover all manor of treatments at our Pure Fitness Clinic. Postural issues and muscular imbalance, chronic conditions management e.g. back pain, disc pathology, sciatica as well as pre and post surgical rehabilitation.

LORRAINE STRUDWICK

Over the past few years has worked in sports injury assessment, treatment and rehabilitation within injury clinics and gyms, working closely with strength and conditioning coaches and fitness trainers.
As a kickboxing instructor Lorraine has gained extensive insight into the biomechanics of movement and how injury patterns evolve. She also works for a Hertfordshire football club, where she is responsible for diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of injuries and match day pitchside immediate trauma care.
Lorraine has treated a wide range of sporting injuries from acute sprains/strains to chronic overuse conditions. Patients include World and European kickboxing champions, ABA regional boxers, semi-professional footballers, competitive weight lifters, runners, cyclists and martial artists. Having trained and competed in local and national competitions in kickboxing, Lorraine also has personal experience of competitive training needs and approaches to injury rehabilitation.
Lorraine uses evidence based rehabilitation exercise and stretch protocols and sport taping as part of her treatment approach. She works closely with fitness training professionals for optimum training results.

ABI

Abi combines an excellent understanding of exercise-based rehabilitation and body conditioning with a passion for hands-on therapy. Her focus is to help people recover from injury, move more efficiently and return to full fitness. She has worked across sportsfrom Women’s Premiership Rugby to CrossFit competitors, as well as having extensive experience in private practice. She loves her work and feels privileged that she gets to help people get back to full fitness.
